The Shaw Snailskis was a long-running campaign for Shaw's High-Speed Internet service. All told, we did 14 of these spots. Originally, they wanted to go with puppets, but I was able to convince them that 3D was the better way to go. I like this one, partly because I thought it was funny that we filmed actual rocking chairs on the patio, then I ended up painting them out and replacing them with 3D rocking chairs so the snails could fit their tails through the back.
For the Snailskis campaign, I was responsible for modelling, texturing, lighting and animating those little guys throughout the entire run of the campaign. I even made them hats, mittens, scarves, and an obnoxious nephew, as the scripts called for them.
